Since launching Fractured Sky in 2023, we’ve looked forward to returning to the game and expanding upon its streamlined core with new layers of depth through expansions.

We’re thrilled to announce the release of Fractured Sky: Awakening on February 24, 2026. This new campaign marks a major evolution of the game and will be accompanied by the launch of Soar, a small-box game set in the Fractured Sky universe.

Fractured Sky puts you at the helm of an airship expedition to recover fragments of a magical falling star. Its gameplay is a unique combination of area control, resource management, blind bidding, and a hint of deduction.

Each round, players will deploy their armies to regions where star fragments have fallen. However, army strength is determined through blind bidding, and players must spend resources to uncover hidden information and gain an edge. As the game progresses, players expand their influence across the island by constructing buildings that grant ongoing benefits, such as additional resources or larger troop deployments. 

The game is played over five rounds, and the player who controls the most star fragments at the end claims victory.

The Awakening expansion adds 4 new modules to this base game: 

• Payload: New rewards in each region that can drastically increase your bid strength
• Bounties: Competitive public objectives with better rewards
• Guardians: Creatures that players can move across the board and grant special effects in their region
• Flagships: Unique abilities that will be drafted each round by player turnorder
